ONE DAY COURSES - curtain making and blind making

Last year we introduced one day courses on curtain and blind making at our workshop. These have proved very popular and we will be continuing to run courses throughout 2010.

• Expert step by step instruction
• Small groups of no more than five
• Professional workroom venue
• Light lunch provided

Courses meet for coffee at 9.30am to start at 10am and run until 4pm.

In addition you will have access to our vast range of pattern books and will
be offered a 20% discount on all fabrics and wallpapers.

Set in beautiful countryside 5 minutes from Marlborough it will be a very
enjoyable and informative day.

Interlined Curtains with Hand Pleated Heading
Learn how to cut plain and patterned fabrics and to pattern match seams.
Learn how to calculate pleat sizes for plain and patterned fabrics. During
the day you will make an interlined hand pleated curtain sample to take home
with you. All materials provided.

Roman Blinds Making Course
One day course where you will make a lined roman blind. You will learn how
to calculate folds. We will discuss the various fitting options and the
different types of hardware available, such as traditional batten or the
rotary headrail. All materials provided.
